Wakoos has three individual gardens tailered to the
children's different age groups and needs.

Wallabies (babies to 18 months) have their own garden which is seperated from the older children to ensure they have a safe and enjoyable experience outside. The garden is designed especially to meet the baby’s needs, with a sand pit, crawling mound, canopy, and lots of colourful plants and flowers.  

Koala's (18 months to 3 years old) and Otters (3-5 year olds) share a very well resourced and exciting outdoor space especially designed to meet their needs. It has been designed to stimulate all of their senses and develop their skills through active play. The garden is a great interactive space where the children get the opportunity to interact with children of different ages. The garden is made up of a vegetable patch, sand pit, soil area, tunnel, slide, willow den, band stand and lots and lots of fun toys. 

Sharks (after school club) have their own specially designed garden made up of a large climbing frame, slide and outdoor seating area.

We promote a free flow out to the garden which means the children can move freely between the indoor and outdoor environment, whatever the weather.
